We’re working with our friends at Adirondack Classic Designs on this hybrid home to be built in the Northern Adirondack Mountains. The Douglas fir timber frame will use four king post bents creating a space 25 ft wide by 60 ft long. While the surrounding walls will be stick frame, the overhead snow load will be carried by the timbers.
