This Douglas fir timber frame will consist of several scissor trusses that generate three timber cores which all extend to the exterior of the home. An intricate staircase will connect the three levels/sections. The home will be an interesting balance of form, function, aesthetics, and use of materials at hand. It is a hybrid home and will include: timber elements, timber bents, timber sections, stick frame floor system, SIPS panels for the roof and walls, timber staircase and two exterior entry timber elements.
