Douglas fir king post trusses with canted posts will frame entries and the front fascia of this dormitory on Paul Smith's College campus. Rated for a 280 lb snow load, these timber frame pieces are sure to withstand ferocious Adirondack Mountain winters. In addition to the dormitory bents, a timber frame bicycle shelter, also featuring canted posts, will be raised an easy distance from the building. We partnered with BBL Construction for this project.
