This timber frame home overlooking Lake Erie was designed in partnership with Charlie Gordon. Multiple angles of the home will optimize views of the lake both from within the home and from outdoor spaces. The frame itself will be crafted from industrial salvaged Douglas fir. Three walnut trees removed from the jobsite will be peeled and used as posts in the frame with the largest extending 32 feet up from the lower level to the roof ridge. The main staircase will wrap around this peeled walnut post.
