Maxine paints with sedum plants on her canvas of dirt, The Vermont Street Project. We’re moving forward with our studio’s ecoroof which is essentially a flat roof with a lightweight growing medium for plants. The main value of these roofs is to mitigate initial storm surge into the urban drainage system. This project is supported in part by the city of Portland’s Bureau of Environmental Services.
