Jered, wood design expert and sales guy at Pioneer Millworks, is often knee deep in his own home improvements. Recently, a decision to tidy up his home office turned into a complete redo of the floor and walls. He chose to lay reclaimed softwoods, finished with a hand applied layer of paint, sanded, and then coated with a water-based poly.  The room is not yet done, but you can see progress here.
