Gediminas and Enrique of our fine woodworking group have been busy crafting and now installing this custom walnut staircase. Each step has a live edge, which means we left the natural shape of the plank rather than planing it off. Without risers, the steps take center stage, almost floating in midair. We'll be sure to share photos of the finished project next month.
