The clients for whom we’ve design this Adirondack cottage call it 'Outre', which is a French word, synonymous with: quaint, out-of-the-way, peculiar, remarkable, and funky.  It is in this spirit, and with a strong desire to make the home feel close to the Earth, that we designed the cottage to include peeled posts crafted from trees salvaged on the build site and we plan to integrate rocks, also culled from the site, into the landscaping.
