Antique southern yellow pine makes up the interior frame of this home in North Carolina (featured as our 7/22 postcard), while 'sinker cypress' reclaimed from bottoms of logging rivers is used for the porch and exterior trusses because it is a highly weather, fungi and insect resistant wood.
